Kidkart Update
Many folks have inquired about the new Kidkart championship points class. We are still working on the details of this class and the exact Tech specs are still forthcoming. However, we can answer some of the questions. Q: Do I need to be a MWSS and WKA member to race KK? A: You need to be a MWSS member, but not a WKA member, although it's recommended. Q: What will the entry fees be? A: The entry fee will be the same as all other championship classes. Q: What will the race format be? A: KK will follow the same race format as all other championship classes, with qualifying, a prefinal, and a final. Q: Will we need a transponder? A: Yes, you will need to rent one if you don't own one. They can be rented at the track. Q: How many races will count toward the championship? A: Kidkarts will run twice per weekend, for a total of 10 events. We will count your best 7 finishes toward the championship. More info will be forthcoming. Thanks!
